Junita C. Williams Scholarship Fund

In November of 1991, the Heart O’ Texas Federal Credit Union Directors voted to establish the Juanita C. Williams Educational Trust Fund in memory of Mrs. Juanita Williams who had not only been the President/Manager of the Credit Union since 1957, but had been tragically killed in the Luby’s massacre in Killeen.  The money donated to this fund would be used at some point in time to help further the education of a Credit Union member.  Directors voted to divide this money into three equal amounts and endow student scholarships at three Central Texas Colleges.  These colleges are McLennan Community College, TSTC and Central Texas College.  Applications for these scholarships will be available the fall semester of year.  They are open to any Credit Union member including their families. Applications can be picked up at the Foundation Office of these three colleges.
