The Shares (money) in your Credit Union are federally insured to at least $100,000.00 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSI), an arm of the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. government agency.

  As of October 2008, the National Credit Union Association Insurance Fund has increased share insurance at federal credit unions to at least $250,000.00 per account until December 31, 2013.
